We’re racking up the visits from special guests here at IDEA Club. Last meeting, it was a young man serving his country, and this time it was our honorary member, Ken Carlson. We’re so please to have shared breakfast with him again yesterday.

ALLEN MONROE gave a very brief member brief, but it was only because he wanted to create some buzz for the host party he and the other three horsemen hosted last night.
Luckily, the hype was to be believed! I heard through the grapevine that the boys outdid themselves this time. The Kentucky Derby themed party was complete with hats for the wearing, mint juleps for the sipping, and bets for the taking. Rumor has it that ELLEN MORRELL knocked the you know what out of the piñata.

Vice- President HANK HARTSTEIN had this to say about the soiree, “Mint juleps flowed profusely and were as
smooth as Secretariat’s stride. GLEN WIELAND’S derby hat would have made Lady Gaga jealous.” Sounds like it was a fete to be remembered. Thank you for all of your efforts, men! They did not go unnoticed.

Welcome to our myriad of guests this morning! We were so excited to see MITCHELL VOKE, who lead us in the pledge. He also presented the club with an American flag flown in combat, along with a certificate signed by each crew member.

GLEN WIELAND invited Tom Sutton, who works in

personal, auto, home, commercial insurance.

ELLEN HICKEY, of Hickey Electric, also joined us this morning. Ellen’s husband and his crew have six years of experience, and all proper licenses.

Take note! The host party originally scheduled for this Friday evening, will be rescheduled due to predicted rain.

The board is in the market for new officers. Would you like to lend a hand? Would you like your hand

forced? Either way, it’s time to step up, folks, and serve your country, er, club.

for a Kentucky Derby themed host party! The party will be held at Exum Chiropractic, at 3541 Edgewater Drive Expect hats, horses, and most importantly, mint juleps!

DR. SANDRA BARKER has so perfectly balanced our budget, that we have enough in the IDEA Club coffers to throw a soiree for free! Our annual picnic, which will be held at ART BAILEY’s home, will be absolutely, positively free of charge!
