Mark Gonzales presented his member brief today. Born in San Juan, Mark became a Florida resident at age 10. He graduated from USF and went straight into the mortgage business. The Mortgage Firm has been in business for 17 years, and is a direct lender. Mark says “It’s been a great experience working for this company.” Thanks for sharing your story with us, Mark!

MARK VOKE is still collecting letters or care packages for his son, Mitchell, who is currently stationed in Afghanistan. Feel free to give Mark the notes at your leisure.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I hope your day is filled with love, flowers, and in some cases, baubles!

IDEA CLUB WEEKLY

Another busy IDEA CLUB morning with 36 members in attendance and 46 leads given out!

UPCOMING IDEA CLUB EVENTS

Feb. 9th MARK GONZALES Brief Feb. 16th MAURICE CARTER Brief Feb. 23rd ALAN MONROE Brief

This morning, we shared breakfast with STEVEN KURLAND, from New England Financial, who works with small to medium-sized companies as well as individuals.

We also received a club application from DOUG OLIVER, industrial roofer.

In the spirit of competition, HANK HARTSTEIN proposed SHAWN SPAID, of Ameriprise Financial. CHUCK BOWERS also proposed Juliana Arman, who is an expert in business development.

It’s official! BRENDA HUTCHINS and KYLE DONATO received their member badges and certificates. There’s no turning back now!

The host party at STEVE BLUDSWORTH’s All Pool was a great success, so much so, that we were looking forward to tomorrow’s host party. Unfortunately, this party will have to be rescheduled. We’ll keep you posted.

Please note that there are no canceled meetings this month.

It’s that time of year again! Members,

please submit your quarterly dues soon in order to avoid late fees.

Happy club anniversary to our fearless leader, GWEN MAGYAR, who celebrates 22 years as an IDEA Club Member this week! Hooray! It’s her sandbox, so behave accordingly.

ART BAILEY is a proud papa this week, having just seen the proofs of his son BRANDON’s college graduation notice. Not to be outdone, ARTIE BAILEY received straight A’s!

MARK VOKE’s son Mitchell has been serving in Afghanistan for quite a while now, so to raise his spirits, please write him a letter that MARK might forward along to him.

This Saturday, JOE WISE, his family, and members of our club will participate as “Crockett’s Crew” in the American Suicide Prevention Walk. JOE would like to thank everyone who signed up.

The ever-handsome and charming BOB SOLE presented his member brief today. Bob does inspections for people both buying and selling homes. He can do thermal imaging, mold inspections, insurance inspections, and wind mitigation inspections. Soon, Bob will add radon inspections to his repertoire, and because of that, we got a little chemistry lesson. Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer. The EPA suggests that everyone’s home be inspected for radon gas. Thanks for the info, BOB!
